The Advantage And Disadvantage of Water Based Sealant

Compared with traditional organic solvent glue, water-based glue has the following advantages and disadvantages: 

Advantages: 1. Environmental protection: Water-based glue uses aqueous solution as a solvent, does not contain organic solvents and 

heavy metals, non-toxic and harmless. 

2. Easy to clean: Water-based glue can be easily cleaned with water, without residue. 

3. Corrosion resistance: Water-based adhesive has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for bonding various materials. 

4. Oxidation resistance: Water-based adhesive has good antioxidant properties and is not easy to age. 

Disadvantages: 1. High price: Compared with traditional glue, the price of water-based glue is higher.

2. Slow bonding speed: Compared with traditional glue, water-based adhesive bonding speed is slow, need to wait for a longer time to bond successfully. 

3. Low bonding strength: compared with traditional glue, the bonding strength of water-based glue is slightly lower, and some special materials need to be strengthened.
