Concrete Pavements
First of all, polyurethane sealants can create strong bonds with concrete and seal joints to prevent the passage of fluids, wind, gases, and other substances. Additionally, concrete undergoes changes in response to atmospheric conditions. It may experience carbonation and contraction due to drying and shrinkage. Moreover, expansion and contraction can occur due to cyclic effects, changes in environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature, or additional load leading to cracking. Polyurethane sealants exhibit high elasticity, offering a tough, durable, and flexible consistency that can adapt to the fluctuations in concrete caused by atmospheric conditions. Lastly, polyurethane sealants are self-leveling, waterproof, weatherproof, available in various colors, and possess good resistance to chemical corrosion. These properties effectively protect concrete pavements and extend their service life.
