01 Packaging and storage of sealant
Because the sealant is a chemical product, the mechanism of curing is to encounter water reaction curing, when soaked in water, the outer packaging of the sealant can only play a limited barrier role. Therefore, in the summer, the sealant should be stored in a ventilated and cool place with relatively high terrain, to prevent the sealant from raining and even the flooding caused by extreme weather affecting the shelf life of the product, resulting in the product curing problem in the packaging. The water-soaked sealant should be removed from the immersed environment as soon as possible, transferred to a dry and ventilated room, and the outer packaging box should be removed, dry the surface in the room, and used as soon as possible.
02 Correct construction method of sealant
The ambient temperature requirements of the product are: temperature 4℃ ~ 40℃, relative humidity 40% ~ 80% of the clean environment. In an environment other than the above temperature and humidity requirements, it is not recommended that users construct glue.
The outdoor temperature is higher in summer, especially the aluminum curtain wall, the temperature is higher. If the ambient temperature and humidity are not within the recommended range, it is recommended to perform a small area of adhesive test on site, and perform a peel adhesion test to confirm that the bonding is good and there is no adverse phenomenon before using a large area.
